At the gates of Bologna, using the new equipped axis, we are easily accessible from the main motorway junctions. When you get to the Fountain of Gessaroli you find yourself immersed in the green, our farm of about 30 hectares is mostly rich in arable land with crops of wheat, barley, alfalfa and sunflower; upstream is the vineyard.

Important part of the territory is occupied by woods of maple, downy oak, chestnut, dogwood, acacia, wild cherry trees that allow us to practice beekeeping in an uncontaminated environment. The soil is made fertile especially for the presence of numerous springs (hence the name Fontana farm) that flow downstream feeding the pond that characterizes the territory.

The peculiarity of these places is given by a great respect for the environment, in fact our activities are all aimed at safeguarding the landscape: we use in part the renewable energy produced by the plants present in the company (photovoltaic panels and solar panels); the fruit and vegetables we use in the kitchen are grown without the use of chemicals; the paper products supplied with the services are Ecolabel branded.

We have traced a path that starts from the garden of ancient fruits, flanks the vineyard and continues turning into a nature trail where you can live with the alternation of various crops in an area of high biodiversity, We are in fact in the Natura 2000 network. At the edge of the wooded area you can enjoy an enchanting view that starting from the Basilica of S. Luca goes down to meet our characteristic lake and the Po plain on the horizon.

At this point the route offers the opportunity to return to the starting point or continue to undertake:
- the Gessaroli trail,
- trail C.A.I. 102;
- the lake trail.

At the return we meet the area dedicated to archery and to conclude next to the garden of ancient fruits there is a grove equipped for relaxation and reading. Therefore we will have a balance between motor activities and moments of relaxation immersed in the green between the colors and scents of the forest, transforming a simple walk into a training program. On request are available equipment to practice: - archery; - sport fishing; - table tennis; - table football. Inside our room we have a maximum capacity of 25/30 seats, so the climate is very familiar and reserved at the same time. In the kitchen we follow the seasonality of the products so we do not have a la carte menu, our dishes are prepared following the recipes of the Bolognese tradition, with particular attention to the search for raw materials, also offering dishes of fresh homemade pasta it is necessary to book. For the breakfast of the guests of our farm, we offer jams of our production, biscuits and homemade cakes, our acacia honey, chestnut or linden. For exclusive events the menu can be arranged in advance.
