Railway Station of Agios Andreos

Agios Andreas Railway Station is the second old railway station of Patras after Agios Dionysios Station. It operated for the first time in 1887 as a terminal of Pyrgos and in 1888 it was connected to the central railway station of Agios Dionysios to facilitate transport from the waterfront of the port. It is located near the cathedral of Agios Andreas, patron saint of the city of Patras, from which it took its name. Today it operates as a Suburban Railway station.
