Archeological Site of Ilida

The archeological site of the ancient site of Ilida is located at a distance of about one kilometer northwest of the settlement of Ilida. According to the excavation carried out, the ancient city consisted of the market, the residential sector, the cemeteries, the theater and the citadel. The cult and administrative center of the city was located at the southern end of the market, while around the perimeter and at a greater or lesser distance, various settlements, comas or suburbs were developed. In the main town there were densely populated building blocks, spacious streets and several baths. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has a fee or ticket. Visiting hours: MON-SUN: 9:00-16:00. Source of photographic material: Odysseus portal, copyright belongs to YPOA.
