Village

Argyro Pigadi

Argyro Pigadi (old name: Ge (i) rtovos) is a mountainous settlement built on the slopes of Mount Panaitoliko, at an altitude of 1000 meters. The old name prevailed until 1928 and is considered to have come from Giaour - Ovo, which means Greek village, because not Turkish people crossed it. It is worth mentioning that most of the fighters of Apokouros in the Revolution of 1821 came from the settlement. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. Photo source: Official website of the Municipality of Thermo
