It is located near the village of Zvernec, in the southwestern part of the Narta Lagoon. It represents a coastal lagoon, with a length of about 1 km, a width of about 400 m and an area of several hectares, which stands out for its high biodiversity. Its values are scientific (geomorphological, hydrological), didactic, touristic and economic. Thanks to the values it carries, this lagoon is located in the central area of the "Vjose-Narte" protected landscape and is on the list of Natural Monuments in Vlore County. It constitutes one of the most important aquatic habitats as one of the largest permanent marshes after Narta. Its bottom is covered by aquatic vegetation with Zostera noltii and Ruppia cirrhosa. It is an important habitat for wintering and nesting birds.
