Association of Social Promotion and Amateur Sports non-profit, for the promotion and defense of the environment, through environmental education, sports activity, accompaniment in nature.

The Association pursues aims of social promotion through the protection and enhancement of the environmental and natural heritage, through the development of speleological activities and any other outdoor activity.

It organizes and promotes outdoor sports activities, deals with environmental education for schools and scientific research in the naturalistic field.

It also has the purpose of international cooperation and solidarity, promotes and values the principles of pluralism and the encounter between cultures, solidarity among peoples and the development of responsible tourism, conscious and respectful of the environment and man.

It is part of the Consulta dell'Escursionismo of Bologna and organizes several outdoor activities in the Emilia Romagna Region, but also on the national territory and across the border.

It promotes environmental sustainability also through the rediscovery of all traditional practices, such as folk dance, collaborating in the realization of the Reno Folk Festival.

The Nottola Aps-Asd manages the Naturalistic Museum, the Multimedia Museum, the Visitor Center and the Botanical Garden of the Nature Reserve and Caves of Onferno (RN) SIC IT4090001; supports activities of promotion and introduction to speleology in the Park of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola (RA); organizes annually on the Monte del Corno alle Scale (BO) an engaging and wild event, the Mc Candless Cup.
