Antica Trattoria Belletti

In this restaurant they serve tagliatelle for a lifetime, since, at the beginning of the last century, my great-grandfather Ernesto Belletti, winemaker of Merlano, a small village a few kilometers from Montepastore, had it as a pledge from the owner of that time to pay off a debt.

They told me of distant times, when in front of a wine fiasco and a salami the card games lasted whole nights and when in the evening the tavern was full of people to watch the first television programs.

My restaurant was born here, it couldn’t be anywhere else, and it’s been run by the Belletti family for four generations now.

Ancient recipes and selected raw materials are the main ingredients of our dishes.

Meats chosen by the best breeders in the area, cheeses from dairies in the area and local cold cuts including Ca' Lumaco’s Romagna blackberry ham, are a triumph of flavors, enjoyed together with our fried crescentine and tigelle.

Local and seasonal products such as the renowned white truffle or porcini mushrooms, are among the main ingredients expertly combined with strictly homemade pasta.

In season also the collection of nettles for the dough of the dough or the chestnuts of our chestnut grove are a ritual necessary to enrich our menu.

The rooms, in a family atmosphere, convey a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where you can feel at ease on any occasion. In the summer we move outdoors under our pergola surrounded by greenery, in winter, however, you can reserve our room with the warm fireplace.
