Building of the Commercial and Import Association of Patras
The building of the Patras Trade and Import Association is located on Gerokostopoulou Street and Vassileos Georgiou A 'Square, in the city center. It is an impressive neoclassical building of special architecture, which was built between the years 1870-1880 and was owned by the merchant Papagiannis. It has two balconies with ornate railings and marble fountains, while at the top there are ornate clay acroceramas and statues, which give imposingness and grace to the building. Since 1904 it houses the Commercial and Import Association of Patras Hermes. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
