The Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Western Greece was based in the city of Patras. Its names have changed several times over time. When it started operating in 1970, its name was Κ.Α.Τ.Ε.Ε., then it changed to Κ.Α.Τ.Ε., then to Α.Τ.Ε.Ι. Patras and, finally, in TEI Of Western Greece. It was abolished in 2019 and its departments were absorbed by the University of Patras. The central facilities of the former TEI Western Greece are located in the suburb of Koukouli of the city. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. Visitable hours: MON-FRI: 8:00 - 21:00.
