The paragliding track (Slope parachute) is located on the southeast side of the village of Empesos, with a take-off position on Mount Kalana. Due to the high altitude and the favorable weather conditions prevailing in the area, the flights take place almost all year round. Pan-Hellenic championships and high-level races are held on this track with great success, while many records have been set. In recent years, a suitable landing area has been demarcated, for the better safety of the athletes, but also for the fairer conduct of the races. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
