Village
Platanos
Platanos is a lowland settlement built at a height of 62 meters and is located near Ancient Olympia. It has been inhabited since antiquity and the traveler Pausanias mentions that it was the last village before Ancient Olympia. According to testimonies, its name is due to a large plane tree that existed in the settlement with a diameter of 10 meters, a feature of which was, in addition to its size, its very large hollow. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. facebook.com
