The church was built starting from the end of the thirteenth century and its structure and interior decoration were completely renovated in the eighteenth century. It boasts two organs, excellent examples of sixteenth-century Veneto organ-making.  During the most solemn masses and celebrations, the two organs are played together, maximising the church's sonority.
