The facade, which is dated after the thirteenth-century foundations of the church, is in a flamboyant Venetian Gothic style and stands as a distinct example of the fact that the town of Muggia was ruled by the Serenissima Republic of Venice. Inside, the organ has recently been restored and is used for concerts.
