Ancient temple in Shtyllas

The Column of Styllas consists of worked limestone. The height is 698 cm. It consists of 7 blocks of stone in the shape of a log cone. The large diameter is 128.8 cm, while the diameter at the top is 115.8 cm. This pillar rests on a concrete base measuring 1.3x1.3m. The pillar is located on a hill about 50 m above sea level, where you can clearly see the temple of Pojan and the church of Saint Friday in Hoxhare. The area where the pillar is located is a small plateau with an area of 5700 m2 and it is thought that close to to have had other buildings.

It is part of the archaeological park of Apollonia
