Kućište will certainly catch the eye of lovers of untouched nature and active vacations. This small place, only 5 kilometers from Orebić, is called a surfer's paradise. Due to its specific geographical position in the Pelješac canal, strong but pleasant westerly winds blow here during the summer (maestral and tramontana), so Kućište, along with nearby Viganj and the already widely known Ponta Liberan, is a favorite destination for sailors and windsurfers, especially Zamošće beach in Kućište. In addition to sailing and surfing, many people here like to snorkel and scuba dive, thus exploring the wealth of underwater life. There is also a sailing school nearby with the possibility of renting equipment, and there is also the possibility of renting a small boat with which you can easily explore the picturesque surrounding waters with a number of islets and rich marine life. Pebble and sandy beaches are ideal for vacations with children, but also for adults looking for a vacation in nature with outdoor activities.

Among the accommodation facilities, there are private houses and apartments intended for rent (most of them are located along the main road) and the camp "Palme" near Kućište. This small family camp probably got its name from the exotic palm trees in the immediate vicinity. It has an area of 1.4 ha, capacity for a total of 150 people, and along the lower edge of the camp is a sandy beach, ideal for imaginative children's games. Camp "Palme" has a modern sanitary facility that ensures a high standard of offer, and there are arranged camping plots, mobile homes, and places for those who simply like to set up their tent in the middle of nature. The camp offers a fridge, washing machine, electrical connections, and there is also the possibility of filling small gas bottles. In the camp, they try to act ecologically because they have a biological waste water purifier, the water is heated with the help of solar cells, and showers and faucets have been installed, which reduces water consumption. There is a grocery store only a hundred meters away from the camp. It is important to note that the camp is open all year round, not only during the peak summer tourist season.

Fun fact: The camp near Zamošće beach is pet friendly, and in addition to the modern renovated sanitary facilities inside the camp, showers for dogs are also provided.
