We are women and men, citizens who have chosen to live, work and operate in a rural mountain area. Enjoying what nature can still give, but also employing effort, time and money to recover houses, fields, woods, roads.

Addressing the incovenience associated with the frequent breakdown of basic services such as water and electricity, inadequate roads and public transport, lack of broadband, increasing inattention of public administration as you move away from the capital centers. We have brought and we bring a social, cultural, economic and environmental protection to the communities of the territory (municipalities and hamlets) in which we live.

Our choice, and of many others like us, has reversed the phenomenon that began in the post-war period of abandonment of the mountains, farms, woods, chestnut groves, fields. This phenomenon had brought with it a loss of protection, care and surveillance of the territory.

Since the beginning of 2017 Montagna Incantata has started a dialogue with all the political forces and associations present in the area in order to modify the LR 14 of 2013, relating to the Emilia-Romagna hiking networkRomagna, to reduce the destructive impact that motorized vehicles have on the trail network.
