Pappadates is a lowland settlement of Aitoloakarnania and the seat of the homonymous local community that belongs to the municipal unit of Arakynthos of the Municipality of Agrinio. It is located southwest of Lake Trichonida and is 15.5 km from Agrinio, while it borders the villages of Kato Kerasovo and Mataraga. According to the 2011 census it consists of 1,077 inhabitants.
