Fountain of Aga or Katsantonis

The fountain of Agas, also known as the fountain of Katsantonis is located in the town of Lepenos. It is an impressive stone-built fountain, from which cold crystal water flows. It was built in 1741 and was named after the Turkish Aga, who lived in the area at the time. Today it is maintained in a fairly good condition and is one of the most important surviving monuments from the Ottoman era. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
