Lake Trichonida

Lake Trichonida is located in the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania, between the provinces of Mesolonghi and Trichonida, south of Mount Panaitolikos. It has a total area of ​​95.8 square kilometers and is the largest lake in Greece. It is considered one of the cleanest lakes in the country, as its waters are constantly renewed through springs, which are located below its surface.
