Peratia is a lowland village at the northwestern tip of the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania and is located at an altitude of 20 meters. It is about 25 km from Vonitsa and 7 km from Lefkada, while it borders the villages of Agia Varvara and Plagia. According to the 2011 census, the population is 219.
