Agios Nikolaos Vonitsas

Agios Nikolaos is a seaside village located in northwestern Aitoloakarnania. It was founded in the 1920s by Pontian refugees, is built in the bay of the same name and is 15.5 km southwest of Vonitsa. Its name is due to Agios Nikolaos en Vounenoi, who is also the patron saint of the village. It has a picturesque port and according to the 2011 census consists of 738 inhabitants.
