Pilos Agios Nikolaos

Molos Agios Nikolaos is located on the homonymous street, in the center of Patras. It is an important attraction and meeting place of the inhabitants of the city, which was built in 1889 to meet the commercial needs in the first years of liberation. It is a parking lot for small boats, while right next to it is the old port of the city. Every year, on the last Sunday of Carnival, a spectacular event with fireworks and the burning of the Carnival King takes place on the pier, which triggers the closing ceremony of the Carnival.
