District of Agia Ekaterini, Patras

Agia Aikaterini is a district of the Municipality of Patras located a few kilometers east of the city center. It is one of the oldest districts of Patras, while it is also called Gyptika, as in the 13th century the Venetian inhabitants of Patras brought and settled gypsies in it, who had come to Greece from India or Egypt. It consists mainly of small houses with courtyards and narrow streets, while it borders the districts of Marouda, Ypsila Alonia, Vromolaggado and Geraneika. This point of interest is Plain and Urban.
