Museum

Patras Press Museum

The Press Museum was founded in Patras in 1956 by the Association of Editors of Daily Newspapers of the Peloponnese-Epirus and Islands in order to collect and protect publications of the past, such as newspapers, magazines or manuscripts, which frame the country's historical heritage. The Museum preserves, among other things, very important relics from the Revolution of 1821, such as the original manuscript from the Third National Assembly of 1827 in Troizina and a handwritten letter of the Old Man of Moria Theodoros Kolokotronis. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. Visitable hours: MON-FRI: 9:00 - 13:00. https://www.facebook.com/mouseiotipou/
