Lighthouse of Drepano

The lighthouse in Drepano was built in 1880 and has a height of 9.6 meters. During World War II it was destroyed by the Germans, then repaired by the Greek Navy and reopened in 1945. The small peninsula with the lighthouse composes a magnificent landscape on the beach of Drepanos and the area is a reference point for windsurfing enthusiasts and kitesurfing. This point of interest is Coastal and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport.
