Frankish Castle of Pournarokastro

The Frankish castle is located north of the settlement of Pournarokastro. It is a square Frankish tower, probably the remains of a castle, which is surrounded by stone piles and traces of a wall, which indicate that it may be a fortified enclosure. It is probably built in the 14th century and during the Revolution of 1821 it is referred to as Prinarokastro. This point of interest is Plain and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
