Mamos Brewery

Mamos Brewery was founded in 1876 by Lorenzo Mamo, a member of a well-known family of industrialists originally from Zakynthos. He founded the first manual brewery in 1876 and in 1898 became the first Greek beer to be awarded abroad. In 1909 the inauguration of the factory took place in an area of ​​7500 sq.m. and it is reported that during the foundation a medal depicting Christ the Savior was found, which was perceived as a good omen for the success of the factory. The brewery developed into a pillar of industrial development and contributed decisively to the formation of North Patras. This point of interest is Plain and Urban.
