Ypsila Alonia Square

Ypsilon Alonia square is the center of the homonymous historical district Ypsila Alonia, also known as Psilalonia. It is one of the largest squares in Greece, on the western side of which dominates the statue of the Old Patras Germanos, pioneer of the Revolution of 1821. It is the site of many events for Patras with the most important events of the May Day Flowers and those related to Patras Carnival. The sights of the square also include the sundial that was installed in 1953, offered by the Technical Corps Training Center, and the Golfinopoulos Palace. This point of interest is Plain and Urban.
