Kato Platanos

Kato Platanos, is a mountainous village in an area with a steep slope, on the slopes of Mount Alonaki at an altitude of 720 meters. It is a Byzantine village, where in the year 1454, it was slightly larger in population than Platanos. It is surrounded by agricultural and forest areas at an altitude of 680-750m and its inhabitants are engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. The village seems to have been inhabited since the ancient times, with the current village being considered older than Platanos himself. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural.
