Limenas Katakolou

Limenas Katakolou is located in the homonymous coastal village. It was built at the end of the 19th century, in order to function as a transit station for the export of raisins to Europe. Today it operates less as a commercial port and more as a tourist port, as it is an attraction for cruise ships and yachts. In fact, it has a lighthouse, which was built around 1865 and has been designated as a historic monument. This point of interest is Coastal and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. Source of photographic material: Wikipedia.
