Rex Cinema

The building, located in the central square of the city of Pyrgos, was built in the late 19th century and originally functioned as a cafe. In 1943 the building housed the cinema Rex, which played an important role in the entertainment of the people of that time, as it was a screening of films of Greek and world cinema. In 1989 the cinema ceased to function, and the interior of the building was transformed into a cafeteria and bar, following the entertainment trends of the time and giving beautiful moments to the residents and visitors of the city.
