Neoclassical Theater of Apollo Tower

The neoclassical theater of Apollo Tower is built in a central part of the city. It dates from about 1878 and is a donation of the landowner Socrates Sillaidopoulos. It hosted several theatrical performances and film screenings until the 1960s, when it was abandoned. In 1995 it was renovated at the expense of G. Latsis and operates as a space for theater and cultural events. It is a typical example of neoclassical architecture at the end of the 19th century and one of the most beautiful and imposing buildings in the city. This point of interest is Plain and Urban. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
