Vasilopoulo is a lowland village located in the Prefecture of Aitoloakarnania at an altitude of 60 meters. It is located at the foot of Mount Veloutsa in the Akarnanian Mountains and is 7 km north of Astakos, while the provincial road Astakou-Bambinis passes through its interior. The original location of the village was west of today, near the old Dragamesto. In 2011 the population was 465 inhabitants. This point of interest is Plain and Rural.
