Amygdalies is a mountainous village in the Peloponnese in the Regional Unit of Ileia. It is located in a green landscape, on the northern slopes of Mount Minthi at an altitude of 594 meters and is 15 kilometers west of Andritsaina. To the north of the settlement are Keramidi and Kato Amygdalies, to the south Krana and to the east Fanari. In 2007 the village suffered major damage due to fires. Today, it has an old primary school, which has been designated as a historical monument, as well as a beautiful Folklore Museum, with dozens of exhibits. According to the 2011 census, the population is about 53 inhabitants. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport.
