Villa Papalexi

Villa Papalexi is located on the east side of the town of Krestena. It is a large neoclassical mansion, with a total area of ​​450 sq.m., while together with the property it reaches 7,250 sq.m. It was built in 1891 and belongs to Nikolaos Papalexis, member of the Parliament of Ileia and vice-president of the Parliament under Charilaou Trikoupi. It has hosted important personalities, such as the Prime Minister of France during World War I and is said to be the work of the famous architect Ernest Ziller. The house is surrounded by a large courtyard with lush vegetation, various species of age-old trees and an old tall stone paddock. The Villa was completely restored during the period 2007-2009 and is one of the most beautiful mansions in the Peloponnese. This point of interest is Flat and Urban.
