Ancient Ilida

Ancient Ilida or Ilida is a lowland settlement in the Peripheral Unit of Ileia at an altitude of 74 meters. It is located west of the artificial lake of Pineios and at a distance of a few kilometers northeast of Amaliada. In the settlement there is an archeological site and a museum with findings of the ancient city. According to the 2011 census, the population amounts to 360 inhabitants, most of whom are engaged in agriculture and specifically in the cultivation of vegetables and cereals. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. Suitable season to visit: All-year-round. It is accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket.
