Organizing a two-day conference in Astakos with topics:

The contribution of the Municipality of Xiromeros to the historic Exit of I.P. Messolonghi and

"The Xiromero in the revolution of 1821: the place, the time, the people".

 On the first day of the conference there will be presentations and on the second day visits to places such as Kalamos, Profitis Elias Dragamestou, the old Varnakas.

The main objectives of the above proposal are:

the promotion of the place and the contribution of the Municipality of Xiromeros in 1821

the emergence of Heroes as well

the promotion of Historic Sites

PLACE: ASTAKOS, KALAMOS, THE PROPHET ILIAS DRAGAMESTOS, THE OLD VARNAKAS.
