"Tribute to the burlotier Georgios Anemogiannis through the municipal tradition"

Organizing a big show in the Venetian port of Nafpaktos (alternatively in the garden of Xenia) dedicated to the burlotier George Anemogiannis, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his martyrdom on 10/06/1821 in Nafpaktos. Children of all ages from 10 years and up will participate, as well as adults from the traditional music and dance collectors of the Municipality (LPHON "O Anemogiannis", "Technourgio", NAHOFEP, etc.). Music and dances of the Revolution and the "soundscapes" of 1821 will be presented (some are associated with Anemogiannis). The aim will be to highlight the traditional triptych "poetry-music-dance" as a symbol of identity, artistic creation and an ark of collective memory.
