"AMATEUR BAND OF PATRAS" "REFENE" “ΡΕΦΕΝΕ”

It is a modular performance with three theatrical solo acts, independent of each other, that bring memories of the Struggle in Western Greece to life and are framed by poetry and music written for the Revolution. Four amateur groups are collaborating, coordinated by the Patras Amateur Band "Refene" and co-produced by the Region of Western Greece.

The missionary, teacher and Friendly Nikiforos Pampoukis, the chief and Friendly Nikolaos Soliotis and his wife Vasiliki, as well as the anonymous heroine who survived the Battle of Kastraki are the protagonists of the event that will take us to the historic Nonakrida of the National Uprising.

Theodoros Kolokotronis, imprisoned in Palamidi, Anaplio, tells Judge Georgios Tertsetis about the events of the siege of Patras.

Patras Theater Group "Theatroscope" (2019)

Germanos of Old Patras, member and catechist of the Friendly Society undertakes diplomatic initiatives to protect the birth of the Revolution from the prying eyes of Turks, foreign consuls in Patras, as well as the British Commission in the Ionian Islands. He bypasses the invitation-trap of Kaimakami of Tripolitsa to the Prokrites of Achaia and they resort to the monastery of Agia Lavra, where they decide on Sikomos.
