KANTHAROS - ACT THEATER 

"Lord Byron: Poems in the Mud" is an original work of contemporary musical theater about the life, contribution and death of the national benefactor and philhellene, hero of the revolution George Gordon Byron (commonly known as Lord Byron). The show will be performed by local professional artists.

The play will focus on Lord Byron's contribution to the struggle, the political role he played in the intra-revolutionary conflicts and in the last days before his death during the Second Siege of Messolonghi. The texts are based on research and the rich literature that exists on the subject.

The title is indicative of the dramatic contrasts between the life of Byron, who left the wealthy living rooms and was not afraid of the hardships of the revolution, serving the idea of ​​freedom and his art.
