Altar of Zeus in Olympia

The great altar of Zeus was located east of the temple of Hera and Pelopi, however the building is not preserved today. Of course, several bronze figurines have been discovered in the area, which come from the altar. According to the legend, the position of the altar was defined by Zeus himself, with a thunderbolt thrown from Olympus. This point of interest is Flat and Urban. It is accessible all year round.
