Zanes

Zanes was located in front of the ""Crypt"", the monumental entrance of the Olympia stadium. These are sixteen pedestals on which there were the same number of bronze statues of Zeus, which were made with fines imposed on athletes who did not respect the rules of the Olympic Games and were placed in a prominent position to exemplify the athletes who were to take part. Today, the sixteen pedestals are preserved, but unfortunately no statues are preserved. This point of interest is Flat and Urban. It is accessible all year round. It is accessible through public transport. It has a fee or ticket.
