Temple of Hera

The Temple of Hera was built in 600 BC. about at the southern foot of Kronio hill, in the northwest corner of the sanctuary of Altea. This is a tribute of the inhabitants of Skillounta, an ancient city of Ileia, to the sanctuary of Olympia. In Roman times, it functioned as a museum of the most valuable works of the sanctuary, among which was the emblematic Hermes of Praxiteles. This point of interest is Flat and Urban.
