River Enipeas

The river Enipeas (other names: Varnichios, Lestinitsa, Avouras) is one of the largest tributaries of the Alpheios. Its springs are known as Avra and are located near the settlement of Neraida, at an altitude of about 350 meters. His name comes from Greek mythology and Enipeus, who Tire was in love with, but he did not want her and then Poseidon took the form of Enipeus and seduced her.
