Temple of Medieval Glarentza

The cathedral is located on the east side of medieval Glarentza and was dedicated to St. Francis. It was built by the Franks in the 13th century and was part of a monastic complex of the Franciscan order, while it also functioned as a meeting place for political and judicial issues. It survived in very good condition but was demolished during World War II. This point of interest is Coastal and Rural. It is accessible all-year-round.
