Chlemoutsi Castle

Clemoutsi castle is one of the most well-preserved castles in Greece. It was built in the 13th century by the Franks and its original name was Clermont, but then changed from Greek to Helmoutsi. The biggest blow to part of the castle was in 1825 with the bombing by Ibrahim, but it was not enough to destroy it. This point of interest is Mountainous and Rural. It is accessible all-year-round. It is accessible through public transportation. It has a fee/ticket.
