Zarouchla is a mountainous settlement built on the southeastern slopes of Mount Krathis, at an altitude of 1020 meters. Its creation is unknown and it is worth mentioning the fact that during the Turkish occupation the settlement was never inhabited by the Ottomans due to its inaccessible location. It is famous for its lush landscape and traditional structure with its stone buildings, tower houses and stone fountains, and is a popular mountain resort.
