Archaic Temple of Trapeza

The archaic temple of Trapeza of the 6th century B.C. is located in the center of a plateau, near the village of Koumari. It is the core of a fortified citadel, probably of the ancient city of Ripa, and is a Doric, one-hundred-foot pavilion. After excavations, it emerged that the temple is built on the foundations of an older temple of the geometric era. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. The place can be visited after contacting the EFA of Achaia.
