Ancient Kyrenia

Ancient Kyrenia was an ancient Achaean city built north of the village of Mamousia, between the valleys of the rivers Kerynitis and Vouraikos. It was destroyed by an earthquake in 373 BC. while today there are ruins of the city walls, of a Hellenistic hero, of public and private buildings as well as a fountain at the entrance of the city. This point of interest is Flat and Rural. It is accessible all year round. It is not accessible through public transport. It has no fee or ticket. The place can be visited after contacting the EFA of Achaia.
