It is located on the borders of the Municipal District of Agia Marina on a plateau that is actually in the center of Tritaia. This is the Ancient Tertiary strong city which, according to excavations, dates back to the 4th to 5th centuries and played a leading role in the creation of the Achaean Commonwealth.
